Fire Department

The City of Dalhart is served by a 35-member volunteer Fire Department. The Fire station and apparatus are maintained by the City of Dalhart under the supervision of Fire Chief/Fire Marshall, Mario Garcia. The fire department was founded in 1903 and is currently composed of 35 volunteer members. The department is a member of the State Firefighters & Fire Marshals Association of Texas.
