Dalhart EDC Attracts New Retail Clothing Store

Factory Connection

August 8, 2023- The Dalhart Economic Development Corporation (Dalhart EDC) has successfully attracted a new retail clothing and shoe store to Dalhart. The store making Dalhart its new home is Factory Connection, which sells clothing and shoes for all age groups. The retailer will be opening in the Apache Center at 16th Street and Tennessee Avenue.
“Factory Connection is excited to come to Dalhart! We are a fashion retailer who brings top fashions to small towns throughout the southeast. Buying from the industry’s leading fashion manufacturers allows Factory Connection to offer name brand and specialty store fashions at prices that are 25% to 70% below regular retail. Because we ship new merchandise frequently – sometimes based on special limited-quantity purchases – our customers know the more they shop, the more they'll find! Factory Connection offers Juniors, Misses, Plus, Men’s, Accessories, & Shoes. We will be opening at 1619 Tennessee Avenue behind First Baptist near United Supermarkets. Hope to see you soon,” said Justin Rains, Digital Marketing Manager with Factory Connection.
“Dalhart EDC has worked hard over the last year to improve retail businesses. One of the things I was asked to do when I came to Dalhart was to get a clothing store to come to town and now we have one on the way. To see this effort come to realization is tremendously satisfying. Steps like these ensure growth and development in our local economy, ensuring prosperity and opportunity throughout Dalhart,” said Joe Livingston, Dalhart EDC Director.
Dalhart Economic Development Corporation has worked to attract new retailers to the community and is very excited about what Factory Connection will offer Dalhart residents and families. Dalhart EDC aims to give residents and visitors the chance to buy what they need locally and believes an affordable clothing and shoe store will fill an important gap in the local economy. Factory Connection is scheduled to open in Dalhart this Fall.
